Looking to give your fishing rod a new lease of life? We’re pleased to offer a convenient drop-off and collection service in partnership with John Rozier rod building and repairs here at Birds Tackle.

John repairs rods and builds new carp pike and specialist rods for anglers in the local area with work primarily being word of mouth and recommendations. 

Typical work undertaken includes:

Guide removal and replacement

Reel seat and handle upgrades/repairs

Full re-ringing of rods with new/upgrading guides

Carbon line clip fitting

New build carp pike and specialist rods on Harrison blanks

🛠️ How It Works:

Get in touch with John and preferably send a photo on what’s app to get an idea of what work is required and possible cost

Drop your rods off at Birds Tackle – We’re an official drop-off and collection point for John.

John will collect and return them – No need to post or arrange transport yourself.

Turnaround times may vary – This depends on the work required and John’s current workload. He will be happy to give you an estimated timescale and will keep you updated by messaging.

Example prices (price varies pending guide spec’ etc):

50mm replacement spod rod - butt guide removed, clean rod and fit new guide, £35

Replacement 16mm tip guide for carp rod £25
